This should already be enabled – the "spellcheck" attribute is supported by contenteditable elements and added when editing text in the Slides editor.

Tested this in Firefox and Chrome and things appear to be working. Here's what it looks like in Chrome: http://f.cl.ly/items/3g2R1X3A1o1r3A2Z0p2s/Screen%20Shot%202015-04-13%20at%2010.09.36.png

Thanks for the feedback. Please keep each idea suggestion limited to one idea – I've removed the mention of components to leave this one focused on charts.

Thanks for the feedback. Can you elaborate on what this means – where would you press the F5 key and what would it do?

I must have misread the title, thanks for clarifying. I've removed the "declined" status from this idea and adjusted the title a bit.

I'm not opposed to adding additional slide navigation shortcuts that work even when an element is focused. Page Up/Dn aren't great candidates since many keyboards don't have those, I think my favorite would be a modifier plus the N/P keys.

This is something that's on our todo list.

For now, you can convert from Google/Facebook sign in by using the password reset page: https://slides.com/users/password/new (note that you need to be signed out to be able to access it).

Thanks for the feedback. Can you elaborate on this a little bit? I'm not sure I understand what's being suggested. Thanks!

    Johannes:

There's a Dropbox sync feature (Pro-only) that does just that. Automatically syncs all HTML/JS/CSS files as well as images down to your local filesystem. http://slides.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/229620-dropbox-pro-

Thanks for the feedback and apologies for the late reply. This got buried.

#1) Mouse wheel conflicts with the normal presentation page's vertical overflow so we won't be enabling it there. You can use a query parameter to activate this on the fullscreen view if it's important to you in a specific context. For example http://slid.es/news/background-images/fullscreen/?mouseWheel=true

#2) I don't understand the chart here. Can you try describing this in another way?

It's not currently possible to set background images from a URL source, so you'll need to download the image you want and upload it from your filesystem instead.

Analytics is something we've discussed internally and are planning to add. That said, there's a lot of things we want to add so it may take a while to get to this.

Unfortunately we haven't found a reliable way to exclude certain elements inside of a "contenteditable" region from being deleted. For example, CMD/CTRL+A to select everything followed by backspace will still delete it.

We do recognize the need for "locked" elements though and have worked to address that in the new theme editor. The theme editor allows for custom CSS as well as custom HTML (amongst other things). Any custom HTML entered there will live outside of the slides, making it a great place for fixed elements like a company logo or copyright notice. This new editor is being rolled out for testing right now and will be made available to Pro users sometime in a few weeks. We'll connect to you via email about getting early access to it.

Thanks for the idea, Lars. We have a similar feature planned which will enable authors to record audio together with cue points while stepping through the presentation. What you're suggesting is very similar to that except that the audio would be uploaded from the filesystem.

We will be pursuing this but it's a pretty big feature and may take some time to get to.

Thanks for your feedback! We're very open to adding to Google Drive syncing as well, just haven't gotten to it yet.
